Something for you. Issue#4
Morristown, Arizona
Nice to meet you, My name is Matthew and I have something for you.
The something for you newsletter is an email that focuses on 4 things you to help you thrive. Each message includes: 1 insight from me, 1 wallpaper, 1 quote, and 1 question for you to consider.
1 Insight From Me
"Camping isn’t just about the escape—it’s about the perspective. Sitting in a tent, listening to river’s rhythm, journaling on a keyboard rebuilt with my own hands—I realize joy is in the details. The drive here was chaos, ice and sleet turning highways into hazards, but it was a lesson in control, in knowing my vehicle, in adapting. Material things don’t define us, but they do enable the experiences that shape us. Tonight, under the stars, in 17 degree weather and warmed by a heating blanket, I’m reminded: family lasts, storms pass, and the right gear makes all the difference."

While I enjoy winter camping, I did think about another epic and much warmer camping trip to Arizona. It was a pivotal moment for me in my filmmaking journey. The short film I put together was something that I visualized with a hero shot from Schnebly Hill Trail. Camping on the edge of a cliff overlooking Sedona was well worth it. I could look at this photo all day. The photographer in me can’t finish this story without telling you that I took this photo with a Fuji X-E4. Try it out on your desktop computer.
1 Quote From Others
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." — Benjamin Franklin
1 Question For You
"If an unexpected storm hit while you were on the road—whether in life or on the highway—would you have the skills, mindset, and resources to navigate through it, or would you be at the mercy of the conditions?"
